Pre-Kindergarten

Pre-Kindergarten is such an exciting year of growing and learning. The goal of Pre-Kindergarten is to give the children all of the tools they need to be successful Kindergartners. Our Curriculum is designed to enrich our students learning, both academically and socially. We prepare our students to mainstream into public school environments with confidence in math, reading and writing, art and organizational skills. We also provide our students with social and emotional strategies to help them respond appropriately in new situations and when dealing with their peers. Some key things we focus on are the letter of the week through activities, math, science, art, pre-reading and sign language.

My favorite things to do at school are going out to recess to play with my friends and doing cool art projects.

I like to eat lunch with my friends and playing tag at recess. I really like my teacher because she is kind.

Lily

I love to do the centers because we get to change tables and do different things at each one.

Allison

I love to do morning work and doing a good job, after we get to play with the quiet choices.

Ben

I like working hard and do my best at morning work and centers.

I love music, gymnastics and getting homework!
